Kells Irish Restaurant & Bar is one of Seattle's favorite hideaways. Situated in Post Alley above the historic Pike Place Market, Kells is a fine way to round up a day's sightseeing or browsing at the market. The pub is always alive with folks cooling off after a day's work. The restaurant will be sure to remind you of the Old Country with its warm, cozy atmosphere and traditional surroundings. There's also a patio outside that's a great place to feel the breeze from the Sound and the buzz of the marketplace. We also have a grand celebration every St. Patrick's Day. Kells proudly serves Seattle's largest Single Malt Scotch collection.

The baked brie was fantastic, we should have gotten 3 or 4 for a table of 9, they are small. We all got a different pasty and everyone was in love with them! The clam chowder was slightly disappointing, maybe it would have been better if it came out first. Kells beers were on special price during happy hour, the service was friendly and attentive!

Yes, we have amazing wings!

No.

I don't know, I would call the place.

In the early 1900's the Northwest had an outbreak of plague as well as mining accidents and other problems of a growing area. The building that Kells is in now was a mortuary. Kind of a strange bit of history but interesting nonetheless!

Theyve always been on point when I've gone there. But...its been pretty late when i came thru. *hi Rhiannon
